Garides Me Feta is a classic Greek dish combining juicy shrimp with a rich tomato sauce and creamy feta cheese, creating a perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sautΓ© the onion and garlic until softened.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes, white wine, oregano, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
  4. Sprinkle feta cheese over the shrimp and sauce, then cover and cook for 2-3 more minutes until the cheese softens.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with crusty bread or over rice.
