- 12 oz seashell pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the seashell pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the cooked seashell pasta back to the pot. Toss the pasta in the garlic butter sauce until fully coated.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
