Ginger Teriyaki Salmon
Ingredients:
Ginger Teriyaki Salmon
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tbsp water (if using cornstarch)
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, teriyaki sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- If you'd like a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and add to the saucepan. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and brush generously with the teriyaki sauce.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
