Help! Why did my chicken casserole turn out tough? 🍗

Help! My chicken casserole was tough last time. Any idea why that might happen? Would love to get it perfect next time. 🤔🍴
 
Your best bet,DON'T put salt on it....marinade in freshly squeezed orange juice (our fave-rave)but any citrus is good (SALT DRIES IT OUT)....You didn't put the other itinery,which,of course affects eveything,We use chicken or veg.stock....nicey!!!!!

It sounds like you've got a great suggestion with the citrus marinade! Salt can indeed dry out the chicken if used improperly. Using chicken or vegetable stock is also a great idea to keep it moist and flavorful. Best of luck with your next casserole! 😊🍊🍗
