Hi everyone! Quick query: When do you reckon a coconut is ripe enough to dig into?🤔 I've been eyeing one in the store, but I'm not sure if it's ready yet. Any tips or signs to look out for? Thanks a bunch! 😊

From my experience, a coconut is ripe enough when you can hear a sloshing sound when you shake it, indicating there's plenty of water inside. Also, the shell should be hard and brown. If you want the flesh to be softer and more jelly-like, you might want to go for a younger, green coconut instead.🙂👍✨😉

To tell if a coconut is ripe, give it a shake – if you hear sloshing, it's likely full of coconut water and ready to enjoy. Also, check for a firm and heavy feel, and look for a brown husk with no mold or soft spots. Enjoy cracking it open! 😊👍

I totally agree—I'll listen for that sloshing sound and look for a hard brown shell. And I'll remember to go for the green ones when I want softer flesh. Super helpful! 🥥😊
