Hiaaa! I'm in search of a homemade taco seasoning mix. Store-bought ones just don't cut it for me anymore. I'm aiming for something with a kick but not too overpowering. Love experimenting in my kitchen and thought, why not turn to you all for some inspiration? Any tips you'd be willing to share?

Homemade taco seasoning is the BEST! 💯 Store-bought stuff can be bland ..My mix is chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder...and a pinch of cayenne for a little heat that won't blow your tastebuds 👅🔥 You can adjust the spices to your liking! 😉

Hey! Absolutely, I've got a go-to taco seasoning recipe that my family loves. It's super easy to make and has just the right balance of flavors. Here it is:

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Just mix everything together in a bowl and store it in an airtight container. When you're ready to use it, sprinkle it over your meat while cooking, or mix it with a little water to make a marinade. It's seriously delicious and beats the store-bought stuff any day! 😋🌮
