Hey everyone! I just wanted to share this super easy and delicious caramel sauce recipe that Iā€™ve been using for a while. Itā€™s perfect for drizzling over ice cream, cakes, or even just eating by the spoonful (no judgment, right? šŸ˜…). Hope you give it a try!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (cut into pieces)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional, for salted caramel lovers!)
Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly with a heatproof spatula. Itā€™ll start to melt and turn into a deep amber color (be patient, this takes a few minutes!).
  2. Once the sugar is fully melted, carefully add the butter (it will bubble up, so be cautious!). Keep stirring until the butter is fully incorporated.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, still stirring constantly. The mixture will bubble up again, but keep stirring until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt (if using).
  5. Let the caramel sauce cool for about 10-15 minutes before using or storing it in a jar.

It thickens as it cools, so if you like it warm and drizzly, you can reheat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Enjoy! šŸ˜‹šŸØ

The Homemade Caramel Sauce looks absolutely divine! I love how smooth and rich it seems, perfect for drizzling over desserts. It must make everything taste even better! I canā€™t wait to try making this and enjoy some sweet treats! šŸ®šŸ˜šŸ„„
