Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless, about 6 ounces (170g) each
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sliced green onions, for garnish (optional)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and grated ginger (if using) to make the glaze. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets. Brush the glaze generously over each fillet, coating them evenly.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish the salmon with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired, for added flavor and presentation.
- Then serve it.
