How do I know if I killed my sourdough starter?

So, got myself into a bit of a pickle with my sourdough starter. Noticed it's not bubbling much anymore. Does that mean RIP to my little yeast community? Trying not to freak out here, but really hoping I haven’t accidentally committed sourdough manslaughter. Any tips or signs to look for?
