I’m struggling to keep my gingerbread house intact. Does anyone have any foolproof tips or tricks on what to use to hold it all together? Would love to hear your methods! 🤔🍪

Gingerbread house struggles are real! 🫠 I swear by melted sugar for the strongest hold ..Just dip the edges and hold them together for a few seconds and it acts like edible glue! 😋 Much easier and tastier than royal icing 😊

For a sturdy gingerbread house, try using royal icing to hold everything together. 🍬🏠 Make sure the pieces are completely cool before assembling, and let the icing dry fully between adding parts. Adding some extra support inside with candies or pretzels can also help. Good luck! 🤞✨

To keep a gingerbread house from falling apart, use royal icing as the "glue" to hold the pieces together. Additionally, make sure the gingerbread is fully cooled before assembly, and allow the icing to dry completely before adding decorations or moving the house. ;)👌

I think using royal icing as 'glue' is key. It hardens really well and keeps everything in place. Make sure it's thick enough though! 🎄

Keeping a gingerbread house from falling apart requires a few key steps to ensure structural integrity. First, use a thick royal icing as your mortar—it acts like glue and hardens quickly to hold pieces together. Let the base pieces of your house dry and set before adding walls and roof sections. Use supportive props like cans or jars to hold walls in place while the icing sets. Additionally, ensure your gingerbread dough is rolled to an even thickness to prevent uneven stress on the structure. Decorating with lightweight candies and avoiding heavy toppings can also help maintain stability.
