How do you know when tilapia is cooked?

Hey friends, quick query on cooking tilapia. How can you tell when it's perfectly cooked? I know it should turn opaque and flake easily with a fork, but sometimes it's tricky to judge without overcooking. Any tips or tricks you've found foolproof for getting that just-right tenderness and moisture?

I always use a meat thermometer, aiming for 145°F. It takes the guesswork out and ensures it's perfectly cooked every time. This trick has never let me down! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
Using a meat thermometer is a genius way to take the guesswork out of cooking tilapia. 145°F is the perfect spot for flaky, delicious fish every single time. No more wondering if it's done or risking overcooked dryness

Hi there! As per experience, I can say that a tilapia is cooked when it turns opaque and easily flakes with a fork indicating that it's done. Additionally, the fish should have an internal temperature of 145°F, you can use a meat thermometer for that. Hope this helps!(y););)
