Eggnog should alwyas be served hot!!! Cold eggnog is blasphemy on so many levels. No thanks yuck. It goes down the toilet if it is cold!

Sure! Here’s my recipe for my Holiday Eggnog. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

For the Ingredients:

12 egg whites
12 egg yolks
1 cup sugar (divided)
½ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 quart heavy cream, beaten stiff
1 quart milk
1 quart Bourbon whiskey (or any of your preference)
1 cup rum
Nutmeg for garnish


Methods:

1. Beat 12 egg whites until stiff peaks form.
2. Gradually beat in ½ cup of sugar until fully incorporated.
3. In a separate bowl, beat 12 egg yolks, 1 cup of sugar, and ¼ teaspoon of salt until very light and fluffy.
4. Combine the egg mixtures and stir until thoroughly blended.
5. Add the beaten stiff heavy cream, milk, and Bourbon whiskey to the egg mixture.
6. Beat well.
7. Stir in 1 cup of rum.
8. Pour the mixture into a gallon jug, reserving any extra in a quart jar.
9. Store in a cool place. Shake or stir thoroughly before serving.
10. Ladle from a big punch bowl into small cups.
11. Sprinkle each serving with Nutmeg.
