Is it just me or do lashes last longer when you actually wash them? 🧐

Hi girls!

I need to share something because I feel like I’ve been living a lie lol. I used to avoid washing my lash extensions because I thought the water would make the glue weak. I was literally just dabbing my eyes with a damp cloth for months.

Anyway, my retention was terrible, so I finally caved and bought a special lash shampoo to see if it would help. I’ve been using it every night for two weeks now, and my lashes still look almost full! I guess getting rid of the natural oils really does help the glue stay put.

I’m curious, how often do you guys wash yours? I feel like a newbie for just figuring this out now.

If anyone is struggling with lashes falling out too soon, I highly recommend the one I found. It’s been a total game changer for me. Let me know if you want the link!

Omg girl, don't even worry about it! I did the exact same thing when I first started getting mine. I was so scared to touch them that I’d literally shower with goggles on lol.

Honestly, once I started doing that, my fills lasted way longer. My lash tech told me that if you don't wash away the oils and dead skin, the glue just slides right off, so you're totally right!

I've been using a gentle foaming shampoo I found on Amazon and it’s a lifesaver, but I'm always looking for something better. Please send me the link to the one you're using! I’d love to try it out when my current bottle runs moving. So glad you figured it out—it’s such a game changer!

I felt the exact same way until I started using StacyLash lash shampoo ! Now I wash mine every single night and they seriously last so much longer. It's such a game changer, right?
