Krispy Kale Chips Recipe

Hey there, snackers! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ We all know the pull of salt, crunch, and totally unhealthy guilty pleasures. But what if I told you that you could indulge in a delicious, crispy treat without the grease and regret? These kale chips are about to be your new everyday obsession ;)

Ingredients:
  • 1 large bunch kale, washed and thoroughly dried
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1โ„2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1โ„4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)
  • Sea salt to taste




Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 275ยฐF and line a couple baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. Remove the thick stems from the kale and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces directly onto the baking sheets. Try to keep them in a single layer without overcrowding.
  3. Drizzle the kale with olive oil and use your hands to massage and evenly coat all those leafy greens.
  4. Now it's time to get your seasoning game on! Sprinkle the garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), and a good pinch of salt all over the oiled kale.
  5. Use your hands to toss and coat the kale again, making sure no leaf gets left behind in the flavor department.
  6. Pop those trays into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through. Keep a close eye toward the end to prevent burning.
  7. Once the kale is crispy and you can smell those spices, remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. The chips will crisp up even more as they cool.
  8. Transfer to a bowl and get munching! Feel free to add extra seasoning if you want to amp up the flavors even more.
