  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions:

  1. Carefully slice the chicken breasts in half to make thinner pieces.
  2. Mix the flour and lemon pepper seasoning in a bowl. Coat the chicken pieces with this mixture.
  3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, cook the chicken until golden brown on each side, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and keep warm.
  4. Add butter and garlic to the skillet, sauté for about a minute.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, whisking to dissolve the browned bits. Add lemon juice and simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly reduced. Taste and add salt if needed.
