Macau Pork Chop Sandwich Recipe:

Ingredients:

• 4 boneless pork chops
• 4 slices of soft bread or sandwich buns
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Oil, for frying

For the marinade:

• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
• 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper

For the sauce:

• 2 tablespoons ketchup
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 teaspoon soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for the marinade: minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, five-spice powder, and ground white pepper.
2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then rub the marinade all over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the sauce: ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, honey, soy sauce, and mustard. Set aside.
4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the marinated pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
