Ingredients:

  • 2 cups malunggay leaves (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups water or vegetable broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

  1. In a pot, heat the cooking oil over medium heat.
  2. Saute the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add the diced tomato and cook until softened.
  4. Pour in the water or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Once simmering, add the malunggay leaves to the pot.
  6. Let the soup simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the malunggay leaves are tender.
  7. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the nutritious and delicious Malunggay Soup! 🌿🍲
