Maryland Crab Cake Recipe
Ingredients:

Maryland Crab Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound crabmeat
- 2 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon-style prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- In a large bowl, carefully pick through the crabmeat to remove any remaining shell pieces.
- Tear the white bread into small pieces and add it to the crabmeat.
- Add the beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, mayonnaise, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl with the crabmeat mixture. Gently mix by hand until just combined, being careful not to break up the crabmeat lumps too much. Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
- In a skillet, heat the butter over medium heat until melted and hot.
- Carefully place the crab cakes in the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 4 minutes per side.
- Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and drain on paper towels briefly before serving.
