  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Topping:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, oats, milk, beaten egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape Meatloaf: Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Prepare Topping: In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Rest and Serve: Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot, with your favorite sides.
