A heavenly combination of creamy goodness and fruity flavor that's sure to impress!
Here's how to whip up this delightful treat:
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs (about 20 cookies)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh blackberries, plus extra for topping
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan and refrigerate.
2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
5. In a blender, puree blackberries with lemon juice and zest. Strain to remove seeds.
6. Fold blackberry puree into the cream cheese mixture until evenly combined.
7. Pour the mixture into the prepared tart crust and spread evenly.
8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
9. Once set, top with fresh blackberries before serving.
10. Slice, serve, and enjoy the creamy, fruity goodness!
