- 5 medium potatoes
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup chopped celery
- Β½ cup chopped onion
- Β½ cup sweet pickle relish
- ΒΌ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- ΒΌ teaspoon garlic salt
- ΒΌ teaspoon celery salt
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Gather all your ingredients.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook them until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, cool, peel, and chop the potatoes.
- While the potatoes are cooking, place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, cover, remove from heat, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Then, cool, peel, and chop the eggs.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped potatoes, eggs, celery, onion, relish, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic salt, celery salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together well.
- Refrigerate the salad until it's nice and chilled.
