Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Procedure:
- Prepare the Base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Stir until well blended. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Make the Topping: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Assemble and Bake: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base in the pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
