Ingredients:
  • 1 store-bought focaccia round
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Ā½ cup jarred marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 3 ounces dry-cured sausage, like saucisson sec, thinly sliced
  • Ā½ cup drained deli-sliced hot cherry peppers
  • 2 tablespoons drained sliced kalamata olives
  • Ā½ cup drained quartered artichoke hearts (about one 7.5-ounce jar)
  • 2 tablespoons drained sliced Manzanilla olives with pimentos
  • Ā¼ cup basil pesto
  • Ā¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Small fresh basil leaves or buds for garnish
Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 425Ā°F.
  2. Slice the focaccia round in half through the middle to create two rounds. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Spread Ā¼ cup of marinara sauce on each round and top with the provolone cheese, making sure to leave the outer edge of the focaccia exposed.
  4. Layer the sausage slices, hot cherry peppers, kalamata olives, artichokes, and Manzanilla olives on top of the cheese.
  5. Bake in the oven until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted, about 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. Drizzle or dot the pizzas with the basil pesto and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh basil leaves.
  7. Slice it up and serve!

I loved how this turned outā€”crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor! Give it a try; Iā€™m sure youā€™ll love it just as much as I did! ;)
