For the filling:
  • 6 cups fresh or canned sliced peaches (about 6-8 peaches)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
For the crumble topping:
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or a similar-sized dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and flour until well coated. Transfer the peach mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  3. In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the crumble topping. Mix well.
  4. Add the cold cubed butter to the oat mixture. Using your fingers or a pastry cutter, work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling around the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  8. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
