  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C).
2. Prepare the ham by trimming any excess fat and scoring the surface in a diamond pattern about 1/4 inch deep.
3. Drain the pineapple slices, reserving the juice. Set aside.
4. In a saucepan, combine the reserved pineapple juice, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
5. Place the ham in a roasting pan or baking dish, and arrange the pineapple slices on top, securing them with toothpicks if needed. Pour half of the pineapple glaze over the ham, spreading it evenly with a brush or spoon. Season the ham with salt and pepper to taste.
