This is one of my most favorite dish ever!!! Go and try it!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque. If using, deglaze the skillet with white wine and cook for an additional minute.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat it in the garlic butter sauce. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
