- 1 lb fresh shiitake mushrooms, stems removed and sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Prep the Mushrooms: Clean and slice the shiitake mushrooms.
- Cook the Mushrooms: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the Mushrooms: Add shiitake mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they start to soften and release their juices.
- Season: Add soy sauce, mirin (if using), salt, and pepper. Continue to cook until the mushrooms are tender and well coated with the seasoning.
