Should king cake be moist or dry?

I've had king cake that's both moist and dry, and I'm not sure which is the ideal texture. What's your take on this? Should it be soft and fluffy or more on the dry side? Excited to hear everyone's opinions!

Personally, I think king cake should lean towards the moist side. 
There's something about that soft, tender texture that really enhances the experience, especially with all those yummy fillings and icing on top! But hey, everyone's got their own preference, right? Can't wait to see what others think!
