Hey everyone!
I wanted to share my go-to sliders recipe with you all. These mini burgers are always a hit at my gatherings, and they're super easy to make. Perfect for summer BBQs, game days, or just a fun family dinner. Hope you enjoy!

Classic Sliders Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (I prefer 80/20 for a good fat balance)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 mini slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Pickles, sliced (optional)
  • Ketchup and mustard (for serving)
  • Butter for toasting buns

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Beef: In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the chopped onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Be careful not to overwork the meat to keep the sliders tender.
  2. Shape the Patties: Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, slightly larger than the slider buns as they'll shrink while cooking.
  3. Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  4. Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, butter the slider buns and toast them on the skillet or grill until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the Sliders: Place each patty on a bun bottom, top with pickles if using, then add ketchup and mustard. Finish with the bun top.
  6. Serve: Serve the sliders warm and watch them disappear!

Feel free to get creative with toppings and sauces. Sometimes I add a slice of tomato or a piece of crispy bacon for extra flavor. Enjoy!
Can't wait to hear what you all think! What's your favorite way to make sliders?
