Soft Pretzels

They're warm, fluffy, and perfectly salty, a treat that takes your movie experience to the next level. Let me share how to make these delicious pretzels! ☺️🥨


  • 1 ½ cups water(360 mL), warm
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 4 ½ cups flour(565 g)
  • 3 tablespoons oil, divided
  • ⅔ cup baking soda(120 g)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • coarse salt

  1. Mix water, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Mix in flour and oil until dough forms.
  4. Cover dough with oil in a bowl and wrap with plastic.
  5. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  7. Cut dough into 8 pieces and shape into pretzels.
  8. Boil pretzels in water with baking soda for 30 seconds each.
  9. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle salt, and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
  10. Enjoy your soft pretzels!
