Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt to the butter mixture, mixing until combined and a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Use cookie cutters or a knife to cut out shapes or squares of dough.
  6. Place the cut-out dough shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Prick each biscuit with a fork to create decorative holes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Yes please to these Shortbread Biscuits! 😋 They look perfect for dunking in a cuppa tea ..just like Roy Kent needs after practice! 🤭

I'm curious, how does the texture of these biscuits turn out? Are they more crumbly or chewy?
