Hey everyone, I want to introduce you to a refreshing delight: Tzatziki Sauce! 🥒 This creamy and tangy Greek sauce is perfect for dipping, spreading, or topping your favorite dishes. Let's whip up a batch together!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or mint)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Grate the cucumber using a box grater or food processor. Place the grated cucumber in a fine mesh strainer over a bowl and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow excess moisture to drain.
  2. Squeeze out any excess moisture from the grated cucumber using your hands or by wrapping it in a clean kitchen towel and squeezing.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained cucumber, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped fresh dill (or mint). Stir until well combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning and lemon juice according to your preference.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the tzatziki sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy with pita bread, vegetables, grilled meats, or as a condiment for various dishes.
