Eating a balanced diet that supports liver function should be your first priority if you have liver issues. Eat a lot of fresh produce, whole grains, fish, skinless poultry, beans and lentils, as well as lean proteins. In moderation, healthy fats like nuts, seeds and olive oil can also be advantageous. Limit processed foods, sugary drinks, fried foods, foods high in salt or saturated fat and drink lots of water. Steer clear of alcohol entirely if it contributes to your liver disease.
