What should I consider when choosing CNC Machining Services?

Hello everyone.

I'm currently researching options for manufacturing a small project and would appreciate guidance from experienced members. Many providers are offering different capabilities such as prototyping, 3-axis and 5-axis machining, and large-scale production.

Choosing reliable CNC Machining Services is often challenging when balancing cost, precision, and turnaround time. How do you evaluate quality assurance, material selection, and consistency in tolerances when selecting a provider?

Are certifications like ISO important in real-world applications, or do sample parts and customer reviews matter more? Also, what common mistakes should beginners avoid when outsourcing machining work to ensure best results? Any advice welcome please.
