Which flour is good for donuts?

Helloo, I've been experimenting with various flours for baking delectable donuts. But, I'm still unsure which yields the best results for a perfect one. I've tried using an all-purpose flour and even experimented with gluten-free options. Any insights or recommendations from seasoned bakers out there? 🧑‍🍳

My tip is for a softer crumb in donuts, pastry flour can be used, however the dough may need to be somewhat more moistened. :D;)

All purpose flour is my go to as well when it comes to donuts! If you want to achieve a lighter and fluffier effect, you may opt to use pastry flour to have achieve that..

From my experience, self-rising flour isn't ideal for donuts. Stick to plain all-purpose flour for the best results!

Have you tried using a mix of all-purpose and cake flour? I find 🤷‍♂️ it strikes a nice balance between texture and flavor, though 🍩 experimentation is key! 😁🤙
