- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
- Fresh parsley or paprika (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients:
- In a food processor, combine the white beans, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. Pulse until smooth.
- Add Olive Oil and Seasonings:
- With the processor running, slowly add the olive oil and continue blending until the mixture is creamy.
- Add the cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend until well combined.
- Adjust Consistency:
- If the hummus is too thick, gradually add water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Serve:
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of paprika if desired.
- Enjoy:
- Serve with pita bread, veggie sticks, or your favorite crackers.
