I think cast iron skillets might have lost some popularity because they're a bit heavy and need more care, but they're like the trusty old friends of the kitchen, I still love using my iron skillets for my Steaks!

I agree on this, I stop using my skillet because they're a bit heavy and you need an extra care by seasoning them to prevent them to form a rust. But I used them if I needed to or when I'm cooking a steak because they're more tastier if you cook them in the skillet. 🙂👌
