Hey guys!!! I baked my first-ever naan bread last night. It was so awesomeeee! I got so excited about it. But when I took it out of the oven, I noticed a strange vinegary smell?? I'm bugged with this result. What could have gone wrong? Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated.
Did you use yogurt in your naan recipe? Because sometimes yogurt can give off a tangy scent, though usually not vinegar-like.
and I also think your naan bread might smell like vinegar due to fermentation. Though, if you didn't add vinegar, it could be from over-proofing the dough
