Does a Philly cheesesteak have sauce?

Heyya folks! Do you ever wonder if a classic Philly cheesesteak needs a sauce?

I heard some say it is better without sauce. I have tried it both ways. How about you? Do you have any ideas to share?

I think a classic Philly cheesesteak doesn’t need sauce, though some people swear by Cheez Whiz as the ‘sauce.’
