Okay, confession time: I may or may not have been binge-watching alien invasion movies when I thought, 😁🤣 "What if aliens had a signature dessert?" :alien: Hence, the Alien Blood Pudding was born! Don’t worry, no extraterrestrials were harmed in the making of this dish. :ROFLMAO: This pudding is a vibrant, healthy treat with dragon fruit giving it that eye-popping color. It’s like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, but way tastier. Perfect for when you want to add a little mystery and fun to your dessert game!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 large dragon fruit (pitaya), puréed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruits and edible flowers (for garnish)
Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine the almond milk, chia seeds, honey (or maple syrup), dragon fruit purée, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, until the chia seeds have absorbed the liquid and the mixture is thick and pudding-like.
  3. Stir the pudding well before serving, then divide into serving bowls.
  4. Garnish with fresh fruits and edible flowers for an extra-terrestrial look.
Ta-da! Alien Blood Pudding, the perfect treat for your next intergalactic potluck or just a chill movie night. It’s healthy, it’s delicious, and it’s got that wow factor that'll make you feel like you're dining on Mars. So, grab a spoon, dig in, and maybe even pretend you’re an alien enjoying a taste of home. Just remember, it's out of this world in flavor but definitely earthling-friendly!
