- 2 (20 oz) cans green jackfruit in brine or water, drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite kind!)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 burger buns
- Dill pickle slices
- Coleslaw for serving (optional)
- First, shred that jackfruit! Use a fork or your fingers to shred the jackfruit into thin strips or bite-sized pieces. It naturally shreds into strands just like pulled meat.
