Ingredients:

  • 2 branzino fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the branzino fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Place the branzino fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  5. Carefully flip the fillets, then add the lemon slices, thyme sprigs, and white wine (if using). Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Hey Everyone! I think a simple lemon and herb seasoning works best for branzino. It’s light and really lets the fish shine! 🍋🌿

Branzino fillet is such a light and flavorful dish! 🐟 Do you roast it with herbs and lemon, or keep it simple with just salt and pepper? Either way, it must turn out perfectly flaky!
