Ingredients:
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: balsamic glaze, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped bacon
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any outer leaves that are damaged or discolored.
  3. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the Brussels sprouts and toss until they are evenly coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  8. Once roasted, remove from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
  9. If desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, or add chopped bacon for extra flavor.
