Hi there, sharing this my version of Chicken and Cashed Steamed Buns, I hope you'll like it guys
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground chicken
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped cashews
- 1 tablespoon large egg white
- 1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 pound fresh or frozen pizza dough, thawed
- 1 cup thinly sliced cabbage
- Hoisin sauce (optional, but highly recommended for dipping shenanigans)
- First things first, let's get that chicken mixture ready. In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, green onions, chopped cashews, egg white, brown sugar, soy sauce, gingerroot, and sesame oil. Think of it as a little party where all the flavors mingle and dance together.
- Now, onto the dough. Roll out the pizza dough into a thin sheet and cut it into circles. Think of yourself as a dough Picasso, creating edible masterpieces.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto each dough circle, followed by a sprinkle of sliced cabbage. Fold the dough over the filling like a cozy blanket, sealing the edges tightly.
- Once all your buns are snugly wrapped, place them in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam these beauties for about 15-20 minutes, or until they puff up and reach steamed bun perfection.
- Serve your steamed buns piping hot, with a side of hoisin sauce for dipping. Get ready for taste bud fireworks!
Enjoy it while it's hot , Any tips, tricks, or delicious variations are always welcome! thanks
