Chicken Pita Pockets

Hi there, everyone! So, I'm giving this recipe for Chicken Pita Pockets a shot. I'm not exactly a pro in the kitchen, but it turns out great, I guess hehe :)
Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita bread rounds
  • Assorted veggies for filling (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.)
  • Optional: Tzatziki sauce or hummus for garnish
Instructions:
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken breasts in the skillet for 6-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
  4. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.
  5. Warm the pita bread rounds in a toaster or microwave for a few seconds.
  6. Open each pita pocket and stuff with sliced chicken and your choice of veggies.
  7. Add a dollop of tzatziki sauce or hummus if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your Chicken Pita Pockets!
