These chicken potstickers have become a favorite in my kitchen! The crispy bottoms, tender filling, and burst of flavor in every bite make them irresistible. Plus, they’re surprisingly easy to make, which is always a win.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pack of potsticker wrappers
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Place about a teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each potsticker wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper in half, pressing the edges together to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Place the potstickers in the pan in a single layer, flat side down.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crispy.
- Carefully add water to the pan, cover, and let the potstickers steam for about 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove the lid and cook for another minute to re-crisp the bottoms.
