- Corn tortillas
- Tomatillos
- Serrano peppers
- Onion
- Garlic
- Cilantro
- Avocado
- Lime
- Queso fresco or feta cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the corn tortillas into triangles and place them on a baking sheet. Bake until they're crispy and golden brown, usually about 10-15 minutes.
- While the tortilla chips are baking, prepare the salsa verde. Blend tomatillos, serrano peppers, onion, garlic, and cilantro until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Pour in the salsa verde and simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Once the tortilla chips are ready, remove them from the oven and transfer them to the skillet with the salsa verde. Gently toss to coat the chips evenly.
