Made this chocolate raspberry tart for a dinner party and it was a total showstopper! Rich, chocolaty, and the raspberries add the perfect touch.

Chocolate Raspberry Tart Recipe​

Ingredients:

  • 1 9-inch tart crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/4 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • Powdered sugar for garnish
Instructions:

  1. Pre-bake the tart crust according to the package or recipe instructions, then let it cool.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer.
  3. Remove from heat and pour over the dark chocolate chips and butter in a bowl. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and sugar if desired.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled tart crust and smooth it out.
  6. Arrange the fresh raspberries on top of the chocolate.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
