Hey there,So, I stumbled upon something kinda neat in my pantry the other day and I saw two cans of oysters . And, well, I thought, why not give them a shot in the air fryer? I mean, how hard could it be, right? So, here's my little adventure with these shy oysters. Hope you like it!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of oysters (8 oz each)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 lemon
- Start by draining the oysters and patting them dry with some paper towels.
- Mix together the flour, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and hot sauce.
- Pour the Panko breadcrumbs into a third bowl.
- One by one, dip the oysters in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and coat them with breadcrumbs.
- Spray your air fryer basket with non-stick spray and gently place the coated oysters inside.
- Cook them at 350°F for 4 minutes, then give the basket a little shake, and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Serve 'em up with a squeeze of lemon on top. Pretty simple, right?
So, that's it! If you have any suggestions or tips, feel free to share. And, happy cooking
