🥗🤔 I love adding croutons to my salads, but I'm not sure if they're a guilt-free topping. Can someone shed some light on their nutritional value? Let's crack the crunchy code together! 🥖😋

From experience, I'd say enjoy your croutons, but in moderation. Too many can load up your salad with unnecessary calories. Stick to a smaller portion size or try making your own with whole grain bread for a healthier twist. 🥖💡

i love croutons in my salad! but when i do buy store bought ones i can see they have many extra ingredients added to them, i now make my own! just cut or slice ur bread to squares as big as u want them coat them in avocado oil to be on the healthy side, and add ur favorite seasonings or keep it plain with just salt. I love adding garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.

Croutons can be on the unhealthy side due to their high calorie and sodium content, especially if they're store-bought or heavily buttered; however, they can be part of a balanced diet if used in moderation and made with whole-grain bread. 🥗🍞
